Web Design

Web design that is built for your business, not adapted from a template.

WordPress and Elementor builds, plus hand-coded static sites for clients who want speed above all else. I work across the full range — large corporate and financial services organisations down through medical practices, law firms, real estate, executive search, and interior design.

What you actually get

Custom design, not a theme with your logo on it

Every site starts from your brand and your buyers, not from a demo layout. If a template genuinely is the right answer for your budget, I will say so — but you will not be charged custom rates for one.

A site your team can run

Built so the people who work there can add a page, publish a post, or change a phone number without calling a developer. Where a site needs a page builder for that, I use Elementor and I keep it clean.

Fast and accessible as standard, not as an upsell

Core Web Vitals, keyboard navigation, colour contrast, and screen-reader structure are part of the build. This site scores near-perfect on Lighthouse because I would rather show you than tell you.

Handover and training, not just a launch

You get the site documented and your team walked through it, so publishing a page or updating a bio does not require a support ticket.

Questions

Common questions.

How much does a WordPress website cost?

Most WordPress projects I take on land between $4,000 and $15,000. The price is driven by page count, how much content needs writing rather than migrating, and how many external systems have to connect. You get a fixed price against a written scope before work starts.

Should I use WordPress or a hand-coded site?

Use WordPress if your team needs to publish regularly without a developer — blogs, case studies, press releases, events. Use a hand-coded static site if the content is stable and you want maximum speed and minimum maintenance. A brochure site for a professional services firm is often better hand-coded; a firm with an active content programme is almost always better on WordPress.

Do you work with Elementor?

Yes — extensively, and it is one of my listed specialisms. Elementor is the right tool when a client needs to lay out their own pages after launch. It is the wrong tool when raw speed is the priority, because it ships more CSS and JavaScript than a hand-built page needs. I will tell you which situation you are in.

Can you rebuild a site someone else made?

Yes, and a good share of my work is exactly that — including rescuing sites where the original developer has disappeared. Website migration is one of my listed skills. I will audit what exists, tell you what is worth keeping, and handle the redirects so you do not lose the rankings you already have.

Want a straight answer about your situation?

Describe what is happening and I’ll tell you what I would actually do about it — including when the answer is that you do not need me.
