Internet & Web Development

The technical work that sits around a website — and usually gets handed off.

Most web designers stop at the website. Then the CRM does not connect, the forms go to spam, the DNS is wrong, and the fix falls between three suppliers who each blame the other two. This is the work that closes those gaps — handled alongside the build rather than passed on.

What this covers

CRM and marketing platform integration

HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, and Salesforce set up and genuinely connected — forms mapped to the right fields, lead routing that works, and tracking that survives a redesign.

Email deliverability

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured properly so your mail reaches inboxes instead of spam folders. This is the single most common broken thing I find, and most businesses discover it only after a campaign underperforms for months.

DNS, hosting, and migrations

DNS configuration, hosting setup, and moving sites between hosts without downtime or lost rankings. Comfortable in WP Engine and cPanel environments, and I handle the redirect mapping that most migrations get wrong.

Automation and AI integration

Zapier and Make.com workflows connecting the systems you already pay for, plus chatbot development and AI integration work — assistants that answer from your own documentation rather than making things up.

Databases, backends, and the awkward jobs

Database work, third-party API integrations, and the ad hoc technical problem-solving that does not fit a category. If it is web-adjacent and broken, it is probably worth asking.

Questions

Common questions.

Why are my form submissions going to spam?

Almost always missing or misconfigured SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records on your domain. When those are absent, receiving mail servers cannot verify your mail is genuinely from you, so it gets filtered. It is a DNS-level fix, it takes under an hour in most cases, and the effect is usually immediate.

Can you move my site to a different host?

Yes. Website migration is one of my listed skills and I do it regularly, including into and out of WP Engine and cPanel. The part that matters is not moving the files — it is mapping redirects so you do not lose rankings, and cutting DNS over without downtime.

Can you connect my website to HubSpot or Salesforce?

Yes. Form-to-CRM mapping, lead routing, and tracking across HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, and Salesforce. The common failure is a form that technically submits but lands in the wrong object with half the fields empty, which nobody notices until a quarter's pipeline is unusable.

Do you build AI chatbots?

Yes — chatbot development and prompt engineering are both listed skills. The useful version answers from your own documents, policies, and product information rather than improvising, and hands off to a human when it does not know. That distinction is most of the work.
